Art Guidelines
If you are sending artwork to us to be used in a job, please use the following guidelines to ensure that we receive the artwork we need to complete your project in the timeliest means possible.
Artwork for plates/logos/etc.
We request that this be sent in the form of a black and white vectored
image. This can be in Adobe Illustrator 9 or earlier, or Macromedia
Freehand 10 or earlier. Suitable file extensions accepted would be .ai, .eps,
.pdf, or .fh10 or earlier. Be sure to format any files for PC. We
ask that any fonts be converted to paths. This eliminates the possibility
of us not being able to match your font. Please note that image formats
are not acceptable for this. If you do not have a vectored image of the
logo/artwork you wish to use, our artists can create one at our art charge of
$47.00 per hour. Time will vary with the image complexity.
Images for a model/sculpture
If you are providing images of a certain item (machine, vehicle, building)
that you would like quoted or built we will need the following views: front ,
back, leftside, rightside, and top. Bottom images are usually not
required, but if you feel it will help with the project then please
include. We ask that all images be taken from as close to 90 degrees
perpendicular as possible. Building plans are also happily accepted.
We ask that images sent electronically be in the best resolution possible.
Please note that web graphics tend to be the lowest resolution and are often
quite blurry. Tifs and jpgs tend to be the most common image files used.
Thank You,
